We're delighted to be hosting the Hesketh 308/1 for the day of the MotorMouth Celebrity Charity Kart Race!

The iconic chassis was the brand's first Formula 1 car, that entered for the 1974 FIA World Championship.

Famously driven by British World Champion James Hunt - father of Freddie, who will attend the MotorMouth event - the Hesketh made 9 Grand Prix starts that year and won the Silverstone International Trophy - a non-Championship F1 race. It was Hunt's first ever victory in a Formula 1 car - and proved the making of a superstar.

A year later, the Hesketh 308/2, with Hunt at the wheel, won its first official race at the 1975 Dutch GP at Zandvoort.

Get yourself down to the MotorMouth Celebrity Charity Kart Race this spring and take a look at one of Britain's most iconic race cars in the flesh!

And it doesn't stop there. More event showcars will be announced in due course!
